Sensational breakfast with a great selection of bacon, toast, fresh bread, pastries, and croissants. Tidy rooms with lovely beds and wake-up service. - Exceptionally good views in a great and unbeatable location near the centre of Edinburgh.

Pleasant stay for two nights on the third floor, nothing too much trouble. Clean place with competent and hospitable staff and particularly nice view over open gardens which I overlooked. Perfect location of the hotel, very close to a hill, and Edinburgh. Luggage storage and tea/coffee were convenient.

The location was excellent, 2 minutes walk from the Royal Mile. The buffet style breakfast had a great choice and variety.

the staff were helpful and frendley, the buffet breakfast was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable, the locaction was excellent close to most land marks for visiting.
the only problem was car parking the n c p was very expencive but the free park and ride not to far away during the day time.

Wonderful base for a wedding ceremony, has lovely view over open gardens. "Magnificent and perfect location as it is a minute walk from monuments and a cathedral. - "the hotel's restaurant is astonishing for dinner.

The breakfast here was amazing and just right at 8:15 am; we really enjoyed it, and we got upgraded to a double room with standard bathrooms.
